This Privacy Policy describes how RoboticsFAQ.com ("we", "us", "the site") handles information when you visit. The short version: our calculators run entirely in your browser and we do not ask for or store your calculation inputs. Like most websites, we use third-party services for analytics and advertising, described below.
We do not require registration and do not collect names, addresses or payment information. The values you type into our calculators are processed in your browser and are not transmitted to our servers. If you email us or use a contact form, we receive the information you choose to send and use it only to respond to you.

Some outbound links to products are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, the retailer may pay us a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate networks (such as Amazon Associates) may use cookies to attribute the sale. Affiliate relationships never affect the results our calculators produce or the recommendations in our guides.
Our hosting provider automatically records standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and troubleshooting. These logs are not used to identify individual visitors.
This site is an educational engineering resource suitable for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use the opt-out links above, and browse with ad blockers — the calculators work regardless. Depending on your jurisdiction (including under the GDPR and India's DPDP Act), you may have rights to access or request deletion of personal data; since we hold essentially none beyond correspondence you send us, requests can be fulfilled by emailing us.
